Hotel Abandonado (Abandoned Hotel) was taken of the flat plain surrounding the city of Santarém in Portugal. There was a rare climatic phenomenon that day when a perfect sheet of radiation fog perfectly covered the entire plain. The only thing to emerge from the “clouds” are the ruins of a neglected hotel under construction. The project for that hotel was then moved to a new site on the top of the hill overlooking the plain and where this photo was taken.
This print is now part of Múltiplos and can be bought through Carpe Diem – Arte e Pesquisa.
